About CAMBE
California Means Business for Everyone (CAMBE) helps small and mid-sized businesses find California customers, public and private, and see what it takes to work with them. It’s free, and you don’t need an account.
Why we built it
California’s state agencies, utilities, contractors and large companies buy billions of dollars of goods and services every year, and many of them want more small suppliers. But the information a small business needs is scattered across purchase records, supplier portals, registration rules and certification programs. Most owners don’t have time to piece it together, so they never learn which customers already buy what they sell.
CAMBE puts that information in one place: who buys what you sell, how they buy it, which registrations you’d need first, and which certifications they recognize.
Who’s behind it
CAMBE is built by Trimiew Strategy Group, a California firm founded by Jason Trimiew, who has spent his career in procurement and strategic sourcing on the buying side of large organizations. CAMBE is what he wished small suppliers could see.
How the information works
- Every record comes from a public source: state purchase records, utility filings, and what each company publishes about its own supplier program.
- Every result shows its source and the date it was last checked. Open bids from Los Angeles and San Francisco are live; state bids are updated weekly. The curated records were last checked Oct 27, 2026 and cover 39 curated customers plus every state department that reports purchases.
- Rankings are estimates of fit, not promises of work. Nobody pays to be listed or ranked.
- CAMBE isn’t affiliated with or endorsed by the customers or agencies it lists.
