Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of California Means Business for Everyone (CAMBE), including the website at cambe.app and the CAMBE connector for Claude. CAMBE is a Trimiew Strategy Group product, owned by Trimiew Strategy Group, LLC (“TSG,” “we”). By using CAMBE you agree to these terms. When you request a report, you’ll be asked to confirm that you agree by ticking a box.

What CAMBE is

CAMBE is a free research tool. It points suppliers to California customers that may be a promising fit and shows the registrations, recognized certifications and optional ways in that each customer lists, with the public sources behind them. A promising fit is not a finding that you are eligible, and it is not a promise of work.

Not advice

CAMBE is for information only. It is not legal, procurement, financial or business advice, and using it doesn’t create a client relationship with TSG. Confirm every requirement with the customer, and with your own advisers, before you bid or rely on anything CAMBE shows.

Sources and AI-generated content

CAMBE’s information comes from public records and from what customers publish. Sources change, and records can be incomplete or out of date; each one shows its source and the date it was last checked.

Some content is generated by AI and is not verified. This includes CAMBE’s reading of your website, the phrases it uses to describe what you sell, and anything Claude writes when you use the CAMBE connector. AI-generated content can be wrong or incomplete. Check it against the cited sources before you rely on it.

Acceptable use

Please don’t:

use automated means to copy CAMBE’s data in bulk, or get around its rate limits or access controls;
submit unlawful, abusive or misleading content, or someone else’s information without their permission;
interfere with CAMBE’s operation or security; or
suggest that a customer, agency or TSG endorses you because of something CAMBE shows.

We may limit or end access for anyone who breaks these rules.

Ownership

Public records remain public. CAMBE’s selection and arrangement of them, its software, design and name belong to TSG. You may share your own results and reports. CAMBE isn’t affiliated with or endorsed by the customers or government agencies it lists, and their names and marks belong to them.

Links and other services

CAMBE links to customer portals, registration sites and other third-party pages we don’t control. Your use of Claude is governed by Anthropic’s terms.

No warranties

CAMBE is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the fullest extent the law allows.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, TSG will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for lost profits, contracts or business opportunities, arising from your use of CAMBE. TSG’s total liability for all claims relating to CAMBE is limited to one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).

Changes

We may update these terms. We’ll post the new version here and update the date at the top. Continuing to use CAMBE after a change means you accept it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
